The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC), the world's largest ice cream company, has inaugurated its new 67,000 sq. ft. Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune, marking a significant milestone in its long-term growth and innovation strategy.
The inauguration was attended by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, along with senior government officials, highlighting the growing importance of Maharashtra as a preferred destination for global capability centres.
The new facility is set to become TMICC's most advanced Global Business Solutions (GBS) hub worldwide, supporting global operations across finance, procurement, supply chain, marketing, and master data management. More importantly, the centre will serve as a key innovation engine, driving advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, analytics, and digital transformation across the company's global network.
Speaking at the inauguration, TMICC leadership emphasized that the new GCC represents more than just a new office—it is the beginning of a long-term commitment to innovation, talent development, job creation, and collaboration in Maharashtra.
As GCCs continue evolving into strategic centers of excellence, TMICC's latest investment reinforces India's position as a global hub for innovation, digital capabilities, and enterprise transformation. The development also reflects the increasing role of Pune in attracting high-value GCC investments and supporting global business growth from India.
